Preparing for the Future
Thoughtwell partnered with the Health Policy Institute of Ohio (HPIO) to conduct a needs assessment for the Alcohol, Drug and Mental Health (ADAMH) Board of Franklin County. The needs assessment supports the ADAMH Board's mission to improve the well-being of the community by reducing the incidence of mental health problems and eliminating the abuse of alcohol and other drugs in Franklin County. As a result of this needs assessment the ADAMH Board has the best-available information needed to make sound decisions about the allocation of resources over the next 5-7 years. Specifically, the assessment focuses on: policy changes; demographic trends; type of need; demand; and capacity.
